Jesus Christ. Who is Jesus?

Recently, Frontline aired a special on Jesus Christ.

They discussed Christ Jesus, Jesus life, death of Jesus, Jesus' class, Jesus' social status, Jesus parables, Jesus teachings, the first Christians, early Christian communities, Judaism and early Christians, the origins and rise of Christianity, Jesus' followers, Jesus movement, biblical archaeology, New Testament scholars, New Testament scholarship, New Testament discoveries impact of the Gospels, gnostic gospels, origins of the Gospels, 'Q' gospel, Dead Sea Scrolls, Nag Hammadi, map of early Christian communities, map of Paul's travels, map of biblical archaeological discoveries, and the Jesus Seminar.

However, Jesus Christ said, "My teachings and my miracles... They have been assigned to me by the Father, and they testify that the Father has sent me. And the Father himself has also testified about me. You have never heard his voice or seen him face to face, and you do not have his message in your hearts, because you do not believe me -- the one he sent to you. You search the Scriptures because you believe they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me! Yet you refuse to come to me so that I can give you this eternal life." (John 5:36-40)

Do you really want to know Jesus Christ? Then you must first believe in Jesus Christ.

Again, Jesus Christ said, "I'm not teaching my own ideas, but those of God who sent me. Anyone who wants to do the will of God will know whether my teaching is from God or is merely my own." (John 7:16-17)

Do you really want to know who Jesus Christ is? Jesus said it himself--you MUST be born again.

Look at what Jesus said: "I assure you, UNLESS YOU ARE BORN AGAIN, you can never see the Kingdom of God." (John 3:3)

It's impossible for you to understand who Jesus is unless you are born again. The Bible says, "People who aren't Christians can't understand these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them because only those who have the Spirit can understand what the Spirit means." (1 Cor. 2:14) That's why Jesus said, "You must be born again." Being born again simply means you have a real, living relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Do you want a relationship with God through Jesus Christ? Do you want to know Christ? Then come to Him. Jesus is ready to receive you.

Jesus Christ says, "Look! Here I stand at the door and knock. If you hear me calling and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal as friends. I will invite everyone who is victorious to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne." (Revelation 3:21-22).
